I’ll go with James Adkins.

Preston Mattingly

re:
you joined just to dump on Preston? You would have thought by now that he would be in the 10-15 discussion after such a promising start in 2006. I’m very curious to see how players who leave the Loons do after seeing Santana just mash once he got out of the cold.

re:re:
I like P, that’s why I dropped him as 15th prospect he is like 21…

re:
My mistake, Preston gets mostly grief so I just thought you were making fun of him. He still appears to have the physical tools and he is young but something needs to start clicking soon.

Mattingly
Speaking of Mattingly is there any reason why the Dodgers didn’t demote him to Ogden after his struggles in the Midwest League. I know he was hurt last season but it seems like that wouldn’t have been a bad idea to get the guy’s confidence back up. They did it with Baez.

Re:
DeJon Watson does curious things.
Phil Gurnee - December 1, 2008
Cole St. Clair
Not a high ceiling but I think he’ll get there. A Rice alum so we’ll have to worry about arm troubles but he’s supposed to have good strikeout type stuff. Hopefully a power lefty out of the pen.

What is DeJon Watson's rep?
I know how Logan White operates, but I know nothing of Watson.

Jon Michael Redding
He had a better year than his ERA indicated. He struck out 36 in 31.3 innings while walking only 11. He did allow 4 HR’s and had a WHIP of 1.60, but that might be largely to the field and league he’s playing in.
