Local boy Gabe Kaplar wins the best play of the year award with his catch against the Dodgers. Not bad for a guy who had retired. Just a reminder to Dodger fans who sit in the front rows. When the visiting team is trying to catch a ball we have hit, he has no more right to the ball in the bleachers then you do. Remember the motto and responsibility of being in the 1st row.
Stand tall
make like a tree
don't flee.

I would have punched him in the face...
…and then run away quickly. Kapler would have inevitably tried to assault me in a roid rage fury.
I’m bitter about that play. :o

The Gall of Kapler
On Dodger Thoughts Day, no less! The Brewers had 4 or 5 great plays in the OF that game; I remember being quite frustrated.

That was an amazing game
Frustrating as it was. It was maybe the most memorable regular season game for me, although that 6 run comeback against the Phillies with Nomar’s walkoff was great too.
