As much as I tend to disparage Blake DeWitt, he’s shown the demeanor of a devoted professional since he’s been up here, as evidenced by his delightful numbers in de clutch .
Men On: .345/.410/.564
Runners in scoring position: .379/.486/.552
With two outs and runners in scoring postion: .563/.611/.813
Tie Games: .360/.467/.560
2nd and 3rd: 1.000/1.000/2.000
Bases Loaded: 1.000/1.000/1.500
In his brief time in de majors, DeWitt has lived up to the demands of life in de bigs. He’s made a very good case to not get demoted any time soon.

Welcome to the darkside Andrew
Its fun to root for this guy. Dare I say even more so than LaRoche. Though Im rooting for him too.

I’m still firmly in the LaRoche camp, but I would look like a gigantic douche if I wrote something about DeWitt having an unsustainable BABIP right now.
I try to be positive at least once a month.

De Career of LaRoche is LaOver
If Andy LaRoche never makes it in the bigs, at least with the Dodgers, we can all blame luck, the organization and DeWitt.

BTW
Where are the linear weights this season? AND I’m still waiting for the advanced defensive efficiency report for 2007.
